RNA/ligand interactions

Our team is interested in using a fragment-based approach to access new RNA ligands. We also aim to develop of new methods for analyzing RNA/ligands interactions. These studies are carried out in collaboration with the team of Dr. C. Tisné (Microbial Gene Expression Laboratory, UMR8261, IBPC) and the group of Dr. B. Limoges (Laboratory of Molecular Electrochemistry, UMR 7591, University of Paris Diderot). The objective of this work is to characterize the interaction of unlabeled molecules with native RNA, in aqueous buffer solutions, using competition binding assays in the presence of fluorinated or redox probes (detection by NMR or electrochemistry).
