The main objectives of the team focus at the chemistry – biology interface and the interdisciplinary projects we develop with different partners deal with:
  • Methodological development based on transition-metal catalysis.

  • The synthesis and biological evaluation of new inhibitors of peptidoglycan biosynthesis (Collaborations : Drs A. Bouhssn, D. Mengin-Lecreulx (I2BC, UMR 9198 CEA-CNRS-Université Paris-Sud), Dr A. Amoroso, Pr B. Joris (Centre d’Ingénierie des Protéines, Liège, Belgique).

  • The synthesis and biological evaluation of inhibitors of the kinase activity of FGFR3 (Collaborations: Dr L. Legeai-Mallet (INSERM U781, Institut IMAGINE, Université Paris Descartes), Dr F. Barbault (ITODYS, UMR CNRS 7086, Université Paris Diderot).

  • The synthesis of chemical tools for the characterisation of a diphosphatase involved in Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation-Ia (Collaboration Dr S. Moore (U773 - INSERM/Université Denis Diderot, Faculté de Médecine Xavier Bichat).

  • The synthesis of correctors targeting the interaction of the protein F508del-CFTR involved in Cystic Fibrosis and keratin K8 (Collaboration : Pr A. Edelman, INSERM U845, Necker).

  • Light sensitive probes for neurophysiology and molecular biology (Collaborations: D. Ogden (LNC, Descartes), M. Blanchard-Desce (ISM, Talence) D. Scherman, B-T. Doan (UTCBS, ENSCP, Descartes) L. Motte (Paris 13), F. Burlina (UMPC), T. Carter (UC, London), S. Lecommandou (Bordeaux), P. Zeitoun (INSTA, Palaiseau), A. I. El Abed (LPQM, Cachan), C. Pernelle (CNAM, Paris), F. Maurel, (ITODYS, Diderot).
