Postdoctoral research position at the Brain Physiology Laboratory in Paris

Starting date: between March and September 2018.

Duration: 2 1/2 years.

We are seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Fellow with experience in electrophysiology to work on a project on the physiology of non-myelinated Central Nervous System axons. We aim at understanding how the axonal compartment contributes to neuronal computation. For this we mainly use electrophysiological techniques in combination with 1 and 2-photon imaging and laser photolysis.
Our lab is located in the center of Paris, at Paris 5 University, and we are part of the Neuroscience Federation, a group of labs whose research interests go from the molecules to human.

The position will be financed by a Young Investigator grant (ANR JCJC) to Federico F. Trigo starting in March 2018. The duration of the position is 30 months (2 and half years). The applicant should have experience in electrophysiological techniques; experience in computational neuroscience would be appreciated.

Interested candidates should send a CV and a motivation letter to Federico F. Trigo (
