The originality of Paris Descartes University’s educational program stems from a capitalization on the collaboration between scientists, physicians, odontologists and pharmacists. Its aim is to provide professional opportunities in the fields of sciences, health and drug sciences, and to attract students interested in an interdisciplinary approach between Fundamental and Health Sciences.
The syllabus of our « sciences f » speciality is built with a view toward an in-depth study of academic knowledge, always keeping an interdisciplinary approach in mind, together with a gradual orientation towards 4 main pathways in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, biology or physics.
Our Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences comes with a optional “teaching/education” specialization preparing students for the Teaching Master’s degree (school teachers or chief education advisors), and 2 vocational options : “HEALTH : Instrumentation and maintenance in medical technologies or decision-making statistics and health informatics”, "Chemical and pharmaceutical Industries : physicochemical analysis or biotechnology or drug development”.
Our Life Sciences training program gives graduates access to Paris Descartes various Master’s degrees (research or vocational) in the field of Life and Health Sciences (with a specialization in “Bioengineering”, “Chemistry”, “Toxicology”, “Cognitive Sciences”, “Life Sciences and Ergonomics” or “Cell Biology, Physiology and Pathology”). It also gives them the possibility to enrol in the Master’s degrees jointly run by Paris Descartes and Paris Diderot Universities.
