The Faculty of Fundamental and Biological Sciences hosts 11 INSERM and CNRS affiliated laboratories including about 50 internationally reputed research teams.
Our laboratories are organized around two federations : the federation of pharmacotoxicology/chemistry and the federation of neurosciences. They work on up-to-date thematics such as optogenetics, neurophotonics, molecular pharmacotoxicology, virology, molecular cellular and integrative neurosciences, bioorganic and bio-inorganic chemistry, the study of perception, the synthesis of biologically active molecules …
Our laboratories are equipped with leading technological infrastructures such as our imaging, biochemistry, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), sensorimotricity, and fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) facilities together with our P3 containment laboratory.
Our laboratories are affiliated to two Research Federations (CICB and Neurosciences) and one thematic institute : the INC (neurosciences).
